REIDEL ANTHONY: The wide receiver finished his career in 1996 with 126 catches for 2,274 yards and 26 touchdowns. In 1996, he was a first-team Associated Press All-American after catching 72 passes for the national champion Gators.

ALEX BROWN: The school record-holder for sacks, Brown was a first-team AP All-American in 2001, after earning second-team honors in 1999 and third-team recognition in 2000. Brown had five sacks in a 1999 win against Tennessee.

BRAD CULPEPPER: The defensive tackle was a first-team AP All-American in 1991 after helping lead UF to a 10-2 finish. That season, he set the school record for tackles for loss (211/2) by an interior lineman. Also was an academic All-American.

JABAR GAFFNEY: The wide receiver was a first-team AP All-American as a sophomore in 2001 after catching 67 passes for 1,191 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had 71 catches for 14 touchdowns as a freshman.

JACQUEZ GREEN: The wide receiver was a first-team AP All-American in 1997 after catching 61 passes for 1,024 yards. Green also was one of the best kick returners in school history, once returning two punts for touchdowns in the same game.

REX GROSSMAN: The junior-to-be passed for 3,896 yards and 34 touchdowns as a sophomore, and finished second behind Nebraska's Eric Crouch in the voting for the Heisman Trophy. Grossman threw for more than 300 yards in all but two games.

SHANE MATTHEWS: The year before Spurrier arrived in Gainesville, Matthews was a no-name backup quarterback. In three years as the Gators' starting quarterback, he went 28-8, passed for 9,287 yards and helped UF claim its first SEC title.

ERRICT RHETT: A bruising tailback, Rhett finished his career in 1993 with 4,163 yards, the most in school history. He also caught 153 passes, the best for a UF running back.

FRED TAYLOR: A big, speedy tailback, with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, Taylor is fourth on the school's all-time rushing list with 3,075 yards. His 1,292 rushing yards as a senior in 1997 was the highest single-season total in the Spurrier era.

DANNY WUERFFEL: The 1996 Heisman Trophy winner passed for a school-best 10,875 yards and 114 touchdowns during his storied career. Wuerffel led the Gators to the 1996 national title and was a member of four SEC title teams.
