Woman injured by glass after shooting Tuesday

CLEARWATER -- A St. Petersburg woman was injured after a shooting on N Greenwood Avenue early Tuesday morning.

The victim, Quiona Harrington, 24, was taken by helicopter to Bayfront Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Harrington left MaccaBee's lounge with friends about 2 a.m. A group of people in the road stopped her vehicle and an argument ensued, Clearwater police said. Harrington exited the vehicle at one point, then got back inside and started to drive away. Someone fired at the car, striking the back window and sending glass flying into the back of Harrington's head, police said.

Harrington told police she did not know the people with whom she was arguing. No arrests were reported.
