Outside of the Box -- Look for the unconventional in a show of video-based art, opening with a reception Friday at the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum.

Downtown St. Petersburg Gallery Walk -- Many new shows debut at Downtown Art Association's monthly event Saturday. See Hot Ticket.

Wheels -- Cars may be a national obsession, but are they art? Related children's show. Dunedin Fine Art Center.

Jacqueline Lamba -- The Dali Museum offers a look at works by the wife of the movement's leader, Andre Breton.

MADI and More -- Light-hearted abstracts make up MADI, a long-lasting if little-known art movement. Also on view: paintings by Andrew Morgan. Gulf Coast Museum of Art.
