Enjoy a Las Vegas-style revue featuring vocalist/impressionist Gary Edwards, comedian Barry St. Ives, harmonica player Jerry Adler, jazz singer Katt Hefner and the 12-piece show band Vegas Express at 2 today at the Harborview Center, corner of Cleveland Street and Osceola Avenue in downtown Clearwater. 'The Merry Widow'
London City Opera's The Merry Widow with its Viennese-style waltzes and melodies will transport you to a world of high-kicking can-can girls, champagne and secret trysts at 8 p.m. Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Watch as Count Danilo, the playboy, is tamed by true love for the widow Hanna and tries to prevent other suitors from winning her hand. The opera will be accompanied by a live orchestra.
