Tampa Roundball Classic

WHERE/WHEN: Tampa Catholic, today

ADMISSION: $5 for all five games.

SCHEDULE: 2 p.m. -- Brandon vs. Lake Howell; 3:30 -- Wharton vs. East Lake; 5 -- Plant vs. Miami Christian; 6:30 -- Tampa Catholic vs. St. Petersburg Catholic; 8 -- Jefferson vs. The Pendleton School.

OUTLOOK: Besides featuring five of Hillsborough County's best teams, the Classic also boasts four ranked teams from around the state. Miami Christian is No. 2 in Class A, and Plant, Brandon and Jefferson are Nos. 4, 5 and 6 in Class 4A. St. Petersburg Catholic received several votes, including one first-place vote, in last week's Class 2A poll.
