Softball/Baseball

Inverness Little League will have registration 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Inverness Middle School.

The cost is $35 for the non-competitive league, $40 for competitive and $45 for Big League.

All players must bring their birth certificate or a certified copy with them.

Golf

The Citrus County chapter of the American Cancer Society will have the Swing for a Cure Tournament at Sugarmill Woods Country Club on Jan. 27.

The tourney will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. There will be chance drawings and a dinner after the event.

The cost is $75 for individuals or $300 for a four-member team.

Hole sponsorships are available for $150 and include four free rounds of golf at a later date. A rate of $400 covers a four-member squad and hole sponsorship, which includes four free rounds.
