When they confronted Rydbom at his house, he told deputies that he had wrecked because "a cat ran out in front of his car." Reports stated that Rydbom's blood-alcohol level registered 0.204 and 0.199 on two respective tests. Drivers are presumed impaired at 0.08. Glenn Hayden, 12612 Blackberry Row, is facing charges of aggravated domestic battery in connection with the attack, which occurred about 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to reports. Earlier that evening, Hayden and his live-in girlfriend, 23-year-old Megan Murphy, had gone out to a bar with friends. Upon returning home, Hayden passed out on his front lawn, reports said. He awoke and went inside, where he argued with Murphy. At one point, he picked up a glass candle holder and struck Murphy on the head, the Sheriff's Office said. A witness at the house also reported that Hayden pulled Murphy through the house by her hair. The witness took Murphy to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where she received stitches for a head cut. When deputies arrived at Murphy's house to interview him, he was face down on his bed. Murphy was being held late Wednesday at the Pasco County Jail in Land O'Lakes in lieu of $2,500 bail.
