Heritage selects two vice presidents

Jamie Atkinson has been named vice president and national sales manager for Heritage Asset Management Inc. of St. Petersburg. The investment firm also announced that Lans Slack has been named a regional vice president.

Lawyers Brian C. Guenther and Scot E. Samis have been named partners at Abbey, Adams, Byelick, Kiernan, Mueller & Lancaster of St. Petersburg.

The Women's Council of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its Women of Distinction awards. Business Woman of the Year and Community Service Woman of the Year will be presented at the council's Women's Symposium, scheduled for March 28 at the Renaissance Vinoy in St. Petersburg. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Feb. 1. Nominees must have lived or worked in Pinellas County for a minimum of one year. For nomination forms, call Dianne Caton at 821-4069.
