Eckerd College will host Visions of Nature, Voices of Nature: An Environmental Film Festival. Show times are at 2 and 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at Dendy-McNair Auditorium, and 1-5 p.m. Jan. 27 at Mote Marine Laboratory, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota. John Jewell, an attorney and business law instructor at USF, will address the topic Students are Customers: Truth, Fiction or Cliche? at noon Wednesday at the Florida Center for Teachers, Room 118. Jewell will look at the social, legal and ethical conflicts that occur when a university adopts a corporate model for student relations. This is part of the Program for Ethics in Education and the Community. Call 553-1579 for information.
