With Cincinnati on the horizon, the Bulls end skid vs. sloppy Green Wave.

NEW ORLEANS -- Altron Jackson scored 17 points, B.B. Waldon had 15 and South Florida capitalized on 20 Tulane turnovers in trimming the Green Wave 68-54 Wednesday night.
South Florida (13-5, 4-3 C-USA) also capitalized on poor free throw shooting by Tulane (11-6, 3-3), which was 9-for-23.
"It was a great road victory," said point guard Reggie Kohn, who had nine assists and six points. "Home win, road win, any win. It was a good one. We scrapped and scrapped and came away with a win we needed."
The Bulls ended a two-game losing streak, and broke a tie with the Green Wave for second place behind Memphis in C-USA's National Division.
With 6:10 left in the first half, Jackson hit a 3-pointer that put the Bulls ahead 31-16 for its largest lead of the night.
It was 38-29 by halftime, and the lead was trimmed to 51-46 on consecutive 3-point goals by Brandon Brown and Brandon Spann with 11:09 remaining, but that was as close as Tulane would get.
Mike Bernard hit a 17-footer and Jackson made a pair of free throws and then dunked on a baseline move to lift South Florida's lead back to 57-46.
Gregg Brittian added 11 points for USF and Bernard scored 10. Brittian opened the game with two break-away baskets to give the his team a a 4-2 lead, and the Bulls never trailed.
Spann's 16 points led Tulane and Brown had 12 for the Green Wave.
On Saturday, the Bulls host Cincinnati, which has an 18-game winning streak and is No. 4 in the nation.
