The Spanish Lyric Theatre will hold auditions for The King and I from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Jackie's Dance Studio South, 1005 S MacDill Ave., Tampa. Children ages 6 to 10 will audition from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and adults (older than 15) will audition from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Bring sheet music and be prepared to read from the script. Carrollwood Players Theater for young people will hold auditions for The Clods of Hopper at 1 p.m. Saturday at the theater in Plantation Plaza, 4333 Gunn Highway, Tampa. Positions are available for 12 boys and 12 girls ages 10 to 18. Bring a photo. Auditions are cold readings from the script. (813) 265-4000.
Riverfront Theatre will hold auditions for Snow White at 2 p.m. Saturday at the theater, 102 Old Main St., Bradenton. Youths ages 8 to 18 may audition. Playwear is recommended. The Brevard Music Center, a summer music festival in North Carolina, will hold Florida auditions for all instrumental and piano students from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 3 at the University of Miami School of Music, Clark Recital Hall, Coral Gables.
