VIRGINIA PARK -- Residents of Virginia Park will plant trees and paint shelters at Corona Park on Saturday as part of an ongoing project to renovate the neighborhood gathering place.
Members of the Virginia Park Neighborhood Residential Association are encouraged to attend. The event starts at 10 a.m. at the park on Corona Street and Sterling Avenue.
Volunteers will include Plant High School students and local Boy Scouts who participate in the Parks Forever program. Kyle Fleming has designed his Eagle Scout project around the park renovation.
