Troopers confiscate copied CDs in man's car

Florida Highway Patrol troopers found more than 1,000 bootlegged compact discs in the car of a man they accused of speeding Wednesday morning on Interstate 275 near Roosevelt Boulevard.
The driver, Emory Elison Wright, 27, of St. Petersburg, was charged with manufacturing and distributing compact discs and possession of copied discs, which are both felonies. He also was charged with driving with a suspended license.
Wright, also known as "Disco E," lists his occupation as 2 for 1 Entertainment and had more than 1,000 discs in the car, along with labels and CD covers, according to arrest reports.
He also was carrying more than $13,000 that he had made selling such items, arrest reports state.
