TAMPA -- Tampa Bay Tech guard Jasmine McLeod came to the Titans' rescue with her only basket two seconds before the final buzzer.

The Titans (19-2) defeated Gaither 52-50 in a Western Conference semifinal at Tech on Thursday. The trio of Chichi Okpaleke (15 points), Rebekkah Barnes (14) and Dallas McNeal (13) kept the physical Cowboys on their heels.

"I told them we needed to calm down and take care of the ball," Titans coach Heather Glezen said. "We play better when we're in control."

The Cowboys (16-9) were led by Elaine Evans (20 points, five steals), Natalie Caldwell (16 points, seven rebounds) and Tosha Ross (seven points, five rebounds).

The Titans will face Robinson (17-4) tonight for the conference title.

Earlier Thursday, Robinson, led by Johnessa Griffin and Felicia Walker, beat foul-plagued Durant 44-39.
