Michael Davis, professor of philosophy and senior fellow at the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, will speak on Confronting Conflict of Interest at 6 p.m. Monday at Davis Hall, Room 130. Davis will talk about what makes conflict of interest dangerous and the four typical responses. Davis will speak again on What's Wrong with Character Education? at noon Wednesday at the Florida Center for Teachers, Room 118. He will contrast two types of character education. Eckerd College

4200 54th Ave. S, St. Petersburg

Eckerd College will host a performance of the Broadway musical Ain't Misbehavin' at 8 p.m. Friday at Bininger Theater. The show's east coast touring company, with actor Vivian Jett, brings the musical to St. Petersburg as part of Black History Month. The performance is free, but tickets are required. Call 864-8894 or 864-8421 for tickets and information.
