NEW NETWORK, NEW SHOW, NEW LOOK: Check out the scheduled debut of Greta Van Susteren's talk show on Fox News Channel tonight if only to see whether you can notice her eye lift.

Van Susteren confirmed the surgery to the New York Daily News, saying it was minor and performed in her doctor's office.

"It wasn't a big deal," she said.

The ads for the show, called On the Record, also are causing a stir. Reports are that the eye lift has combined with different TV makeup and lighting to give Van Susteren a more polished look.

DON'T HURT YOURSELF: A recent issue of Bride's magazine was the largest consumer magazine ever, weighing 4.9 pounds, the Washington Post says, citing social demographer Pamela Paul.

(Paul has written a book, The Starter Marriage and the Future of Matrimony.)

WHAT BETTER SIGN OF COMMITMENT: Jennifer Aniston, who maintained she would remain Jennifer Aniston after marrying Brad Pitt, is now calling herself Jennifer Pitt. Sometimes.

She ordered 250 note cards from Los Angeles artist Claudia Laub engraved with "Jennifer Pitt."

"I asked her what name she wanted, and she was really firm," Laub says in a New York Post report. "I was really surprised. Most people start with 100 cards. I think the fact that she ordered 250 says she's not letting this one go."

HOW COME MARTHA QUINN NEVER GOT ONE? For those of you who think Carson Daly is just another pretty face -- or just another face -- a record company is convinced the MTV host actually knows something about music. It's given Daly his own label.

"This venture should definitely be a blockbuster," Loud Records CEO Steve Rifkind tells Zap2it.com. "We're betting that he'll be able to attract the best talent from across the globe, from rock to hip-hop."

Loud's artists include Wu-tang Clan, Funkmaster Flex, Three 6 Mafia and Xzibit.

Daly's unnamed label will focus on discovering and developing talent in all kinds of music. It already has a staff and several artists set to record demos.

But hey -- isn't Mariah Carey still looking for a new label? An offer is the least Daly could do considering he told the world "Ladies and gentlemen, Mariah Carey has lost her mind" during her erratic TRL appearance with him last year. A few days later, a breakdown put her in a hospital.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MINISERIES: If you need something to keep dust off a spot on your coffee table, pick up The Little Book of Ties. It's 119 pages of the evolution of ties, the styles of ties, the materials of ties, the purposes of ties and the symbolism of ties, the Baltimore Sun says.

The book isn't totally useless. It does have a guide to all the knots.
