Who will survive Marquesas?By Times staff and wire reports© St. Petersburg Times published February 7, 2002 Without a lot of intrigue, the next 16 Survivor contestants were introduced Wednesday as CBS maneuvers its shortest time between series since the reality show debuted in summer 2000. Survivor: Marquesas debuts Feb. 28, seven weeks after Ethan Zohn was named the winner of Survivor: Africa, the show's third installment. You may be asking . . . What's a Marquesas?: A group of islands in French Polynesia in the South Pacific. The contestants are on Nuku Hiva, a distant neighbor of Tahiti. Any plot twist off the bat?: For the first time, food and water won't be provided. What are those cute tribe names?: Maraamu and Rotu. What's the Census Bureau breakdown?
