HUDSON -- A 13-year-old Hudson Middle School student was arrested Tuesday after, deputies said, the teenager brought six knives, mostly pocket knives, and pair of scissors to school.

The teen, who is not being named by the Times because of his age, faces seven counts of possession of a weapon on school grounds, Pasco Sheriff's deputies said.

The teen told deputies that he forgot the scissors and knives were in his school bag, according to a deputy report.
