ALZHEIMER'S RALLY: The second annual Rock 'n Roll Rally to Remember, sponsored by the Alzheimer Family Organization, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Plantation Inn, U.S. 19 and Fort Island Trail, Crystal River. The event features people using rocking chairs to raise funds for local Alzheimer's patients. DOLLS: Doll expert Hedy Emerson will be the featured speaker at the meeting of the Nature Coast Chapter of American Pen Women at noon Tuesday at the ABC Pizza restaurant on U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. CHILI: A chili cookoff begins at 3 p.m. Sunday at Trails End Camp, N Hooty Point, Inverness, off Turner Camp Road. The cookoff is a fundraiser for Citrus United Basket. IRISH MUSIC: The Knights of Columbus Abbot Francis Sadlier Council 6168 of Beverly Hills will host the 10th annual Salute to the Irish concert at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High. Featured entertainer is Noel Kingston, and other acts include comedian Eamon O'Connor, singer Hilary O'Leary and the Tir Na Greine School of Irish Dance from Ocala. USO BENEFIT: The Citrus Sertoma Club will present "An Evening to Benefit The USO" from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 24 at Rock Crusher Canyon Garden Pavilion.

Entertainers include bands and choirs from Crystal River and Lecanto High, The Amazing Elvis E., The Sonshine Quartet, DancEtc., Jackie Leonard and Sally Langlois.

Tickets for the concert, which also includes a buffet meal, are $20 in advance at Simon Marketplace at Crystal River Mall; Pack-N-Post, 650 SE Paradise Point Road, Crystal River; the SHARE Club office at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness; and the Rock Crusher Canyon box office, 275 S Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River. McLEAN MUSIC: The Will McLean Music Festival will be March 9 and 10 at Sertoma Youth Ranch. The festival includes live folk music on three stages, workshops, poetry, storytelling and children's activities. Sertoma Youth Ranch is 7 miles west of Dade City and 1.5 miles east of I-75 exit 60.
