THE HERNANDO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Brooksville Community Hall, 205 East Ft. Weekend events -- TonightAUTO RACING: The Citrus County Speedway program will consist of short-track stock car racing in Late Model, Sportsman, Street Stock, Hobby Stock and Thunder Stock classes, as well as a 40-lap Mini Stock feature. The quarter-mile track is 2 miles south of Inverness off U.S. 41 at the fairgrounds. Gates open at 4 p.m., and the first heat race is at 6:30. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for seniors and students to age 17, $6 for children 6-12, $2 for children under 42 inches, and $20 for pits.
