    Seafood festival

    If you like savory seafood and song, don't miss the Harbor Sounds Seafood and Music Festival this weekend in downtown Safety Harbor. Saturday is "Island Splash" day and will feature Gumbi Ortiz & the Latino Projekt from 2 to 3:15 p.m., Impulse from 4 to 5:15 p.m., Patrick Foy & the Conch Critters from 6 to 7:15 p.m. and Strangeways from 8 to 9:15 p.m. Afterward, there will be a fireworks display over the bay. Sunday is "Jazz and Blues on the Bay" day. From 1 to 2:15 p.m., the Women's Blues Revue will play, followed by the Mike MacArthur Group from 3 to 4:15 p.m., Twinkle Schascle from 5 to 6:15 p.m. and Damon Fowler Group from 7 to 8:15 p.m. The event, which also will include arts and crafts, will take place on the grounds of the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, 105 N Bayshore Drive.     Spring Antiques Fair

    Main Street in downtown Dunedin will be closed to make way for more than 70 antique dealers from throughout the United States who will show and sell their treasures from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. In addition to a display of old valuables, you can enjoy entertainment by the Modern Guitar Quintet from noon to 3 p.m. Also, there will be free face painting from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.     Nature photography weekend

    Internationally renowned bird photographer and writer Arthur Morris flew into town for his "On a Wing and a Prayer" exhibit and seminar this weekend. You can meet him, pick up one of his books and admire his works from 7 to 8:30 tonight at a meet-the-photographer reception at The Packinghouse Gallery, 10900 Oakhurst Road, Largo. But if you really want to learn his techniques, you'll want to attend his seminar from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Harborview Center, 300 Cleveland St., downtown Clearwater. Admission is free for the reception, but the seminar costs $69. For information, call 596-7822.

    Arts and crafts show

    The 13th annual Spring Gathering featuring everything country including wreaths, birdhouses, hand-painted pottery, ceramics, country signs, candles, homemade soaps, gourmet foods, herbal packs, furniture, folk art, jewelry and much more will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Harborview Center, 300 Cleveland St., downtown Clearwater. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children 12 and under. Parking is free. For information, call 787-6027.

    ART FEST AND CAR SHOW: See the Batmobile and more than 70 hot rods at the Kiwanis Club of Dunedin and the Dunedin Fine Art Center's Kids Art Festival 2002 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Highlander Park, 1143 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin. There will be displays, carnival games, entertainment by DJ Paul McClintock, hot dogs, prizes, a bike parade and more than a dozen "art zones" featuring free crafts activities. Admission is free.     DOO WOP REUNION: Johnny Maestro & the Brooklyn Bridge, Jerry Butler, Kenny Vance & the Planotones, The Duprees, Emil Stucchio & the Classics and Tommy & the Saints will perform pop and rock during the Doo Wop Reunion II at 8 tonight at Ruth Eckerd Hall.     ART SHOW: Lampwork glass bead jewelry by Jenny English, stained glass creations by Jack Roseman and sculpted three-legged wood chairs will be featured during "The Jenny, Jack and Al Show" March 1-31 at The Painted Fish Gallery, 350 Main St., downtown Dunedin.     ANTIQUE FAIR: Check your closests and clean your attic, it's time for the first annual Antique Appraisal Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Religious Community Services Thrift Store parking lot, 2960 East Bay Drive, Largo. Appraisers specializing in Oriental items, antique jewelry, china, silver, watches and paintings will be on hand to estimate the value of your treasures. Appraisals cost $5 each or $12 for three.     WATERCOLOR SHOW: The Sand Key Watercolor Artists will present their annual Watercolor Art Show from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center, 1001 Gulf Blvd., Sand Key.     REVUE: The Tampa Bay Women's Blues Revue will perform as part of the All Children's Hospital Guild's 25th annual Art Festival and Charity Auction at noon Saturday at Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive. Admission is free.

    MARCH MARCH: The Upper Pinellas Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers will host their annual fundraising march at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pioneer Park, Douglas and Main Street in downtown Dunedin. There will be prizes, refreshments and 1-mile 5-kilometer fun walk/runs. Avoid the lines and get there early for registration. Call 738-4307.

    CLASSIC FILM: Snow White and the Three Stooges will be shown at 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday at the Royalty Theater, 405 Cleveland St., downtown Clearwater.
