SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: The La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge No. 1251 on Lemon Street in Tampa will award five $1,000 scholarships this year. The Sons of Italy Florida Foundation will award 10 $1,000 scholarships and one "luck of the draw" $1,000 scholarship. Applications and requirements are available at county public and private high schools. Submission deadline is March 15 for the local lodge and April 1 for the Florida foundation. BECOME A YOUTH STORYTELLER: Students from kindergarten though 12th grade are invited to participate in the 22nd annual Tampa-Hillsborough County Storytelling Festival. The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 at Hillsborough High School, 5000 Central Ave. It will include youth and adult storytellers, a storybook character parade, book fair, puppet shows and workshops.
