Al-Arian spends a lot of his time on the telephone, often with reporters. In the past six months he has appeared on the O'Reilly Factor and 48 Hours and has been featured in Time, Newsweek and the Chronicle of Higher Education. Newspapers from the New York Times to the Lakeland Ledger have editorialized about his case. This is his office at the Islamic Academy of Florida.
