The winner of the Raymond James Best of Show award and the accompanying $15,000 check at the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts in Tampa on Saturday was Tom Haney of Atlanta for a sculpture called Combo.
Other winners were:
Joel Fremion of Fort Wayne, Ind., $7,500 Board of Directors' Award.
Charles Parkhill of Tampa, $3,500 Mayor's Award.
Marcia Derse of Sylvania, Ohio, $2,500 Anniversary Award.
Les Slesnick of Orlando, $2,000 Friends of the Arts Award.
Sean Parrish of Tampa, $1,000 for best emerging artist.
