Group offers college help for women
INVERNESS -- The Citrus branch of the American Association of University Women has funded an educational endowment with Central Florida Community College. College-bound high school seniors or graduates whose college careers have been interrupted may apply. To obtain an application, call 726-6479. Deadline is Friday.
The Department of Public Safety, Animal Control is seeking a cat that scratched a man on Tuesday at 3440 S Winding Path, Inverness. It is described as a 12-year-old black and white, neutered male domestic shorthair. If the cat is not located by Friday, rabies vaccinations will have to be administered to the victim.
