The Christmas Toy Shop, 550 16th St. N, St. Petersburg, needs help sorting and repairing items such as trains, bikes and radios. The organization also needs painters. For information, call the Christmas Toy Shop at 898-3962.

Sunken Gardens, 1825 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg, needs assistance with phones, the gift shop, garden maintenance and wildlife care, and with special events. For information, call Maggie Hayes at 551-3106.

The Permanency Support Program, through Gulf Coast Community Care, 14041 ICOT Blvd., Clearwater, needs adult mentors 30 years and older for abused children. The program requires 2-4 hours each week. For information, call Gulf Coast Community Care at 538-7460.

Neighborly Senior Services, 13650 Stoneybrook Drive, Clearwater, has a Caregiver Relief Volunteer program, which provides help to those caring for loved ones at home. Training is provided. For information, call Pat Hofstadter at 573-9444, ext. 291.
