Blessed Sacrament plans family oriented festival

Blessed Sacrament School will host its 27th annual spring carnival Friday through Sunday at the school, 11501 66th Ave. N, Seminole. Family oriented games, rides and entertainment will begin Friday at 6 p.m. and continue until 11 p.m. Saturday's activities are scheduled from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. with a corned beef and cabbage dinner served from 4 to 6 p.m. After a pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. until noon on Sunday, the carnival continues until 6 p.m.

Youth Conservation Camp begins June 16

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a residential summer program at the Everglades Youth Conservation Camp this summer for children ages 8 to 14. Seven one-week sessions will be offered beginning June 16 at the 60,000-acre wilderness area in Palm Beach County.
