State Rep. Argenziano helps pass 2 pieces of legislation
TALLAHASSEE -- State Rep. Nancy Argenziano, R-Crystal River, helped pass two pieces of legislation this week. Both are headed to Gov. Jeb Bush for signature. One measure (HB 93/SB 374) would create the Citrus/Hernando Waterways Restoration Council, whose members would be citizens appointed by the speaker of the Florida House of Representatives and Senate president. The other (HB 101/SB 508) would exempt waterfront land owners from permitting requirements for the removal of muck along shorelines. State Sen. Ginny Brown-Waite, R-Brooksville, was the Senate sponsor for both bills.
