Television has its famous Crocodile Hunter, known to tussle with crocs from time to time. In Citrus County, we have the Kachunga Alligator Wrestling Show.

Once again, the Citrus County Fair will feature the Kachunga show, which has been making the rounds of the fair circuit since 1982. With five units across the country, the Kachunga shows are one of the busiest animal acts.

The Kachunga show features the exciting alligator wrestling event, but also educates the public about alligators. According to the Kachunga Web page, the alligators are "treated with respect and not drugged or sedated in any way."

The Kachunga show will be near the front gate of the fairgrounds, by the horticulture building. Look for a large alligator pit that resembles an above-ground pool. There will be bleachers for the audience.
