COMEDY: Kiss or Make Up, a comedy presented by Gulf Islands Civic Theatre, will be performed today, Saturday and Sunday at the West Citrus Community Center, Veterans Drive off U.S. 19 S between Crystal River and Homosassa Springs. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday; 2 p.m. Sunday. Turn west off U.S. 19 on Veterans Drive, the community center is on the left. Tickets are $8 in advance at the Gulf Islands box office at Cash Carpets, 776 N Enterprise Point, Lecanto. Tickets at the door are $10. Call 527-9061.

PLAYHOUSE 19: The Tennessee Williams family drama Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will be performed today, Saturday and Sundays at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19, Crystal River. Show times are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call the box office at 563-1333.

BALLROOM DANCERS: The Spirit of Citrus Ballroom Dancers meet from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturdays at the Kellner Center on Civic Circle in Beverly Hills. Admission to the dances are $4 for members, $6 for nonmembers. Ballroom dancing lessons are from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays for beginners, 8 to 9 p.m. for intermediate. Cost is $5. Call 746-5845.

CURTAIN CALLS

AUDITIONS: Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River, will have auditions for the musical Chicago at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. The musical has 19 parts, all with singing and dancing. Be prepared to give a two-minute monologue and sing at least 16 bars of a song. Bring sheet music for the pianist. Call 563-1333.

LOOK AHEAD

YEAH,YEAH,YEAH: The Beatles tribute band, 1964... A Tribute will perform at Rock Crusher Canyon amphitheater at 7 p.m. March 30. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $30 for VIP, which include stage front seating and a buffet meal. Gates open at 5 p.m. Call 795-1313.

SPRING DANCE: The Spanish American Club of Citrus County will host a Spring Dance at 8 p.m. April 6 at the Beverly Hills Recreation Center, 77 Civic Circle. Music by Mr.T -- Manny Toro. CARNEGIE HILL: An evening of romantic music, with selections from classical and contemporary songs, will be presented during the annual Carnegie Hill fundraiser at the Citrus County Art League. Carnegie Hill V will be performed March 22 to 24 at the art league, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills. Producer/director Anna Sandoval, who also sings in the program, will be joined by Tim Shields and Amy Easter. The theme for the concert is romance songs. Opening Night features wine and cheese hors d'oeuvres -- cost is $20. The March 23 Champagne Gala is $30 and the March 24 coffee and cake matinee will be $20. Show times are 8 p.m. for the March 22 and 23 shows, 2:30 p.m. for the March 24 show. A silent auction for selected artworks will be held each night. Call the art league box office at 746-7606.

ART LEAGUE PLAY: Citrus County Art League will present I'm Not Rappaport beginning May 3 for three weekends with an extra matinee on May 8. The play is about two aging men who meet in the park. Events in the park cause them to react in a manner that reflects their individual past life styles and coping skills. The box office is open from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. DISC JOCKEY TRIBUTE: A tribute to WRZN disc jockey Gene Marting will be from 3 to 6 p.m. March 21 at Rock Crusher Canyon Garden Pavilion. Martin, host of the show Big Bands, Ballads and Blues, will be observing the 10th anniversary of his show. Tickets are $10. Call 726-3369.

PLAYHOUSE 19 MUSICAL: An Evening With Irving Berlin will be March 22-24 at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. Musicians from Stage West and Playhouse 19 community theaters will present Berlin's music. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, $5 for 12 and younger. Evening performances will be at 7 p.m March 22 and 23, 2 p.m. March 24. Call 563-1333.

FORT COOPER DAYS: The annual reenactment of a Second Seminole War skirmish will be March 23 and 24 at Fort Cooper State Park, 3100 Old Floral City Road, Inverness. Admission is $4 per adult, $1 for children ages 6 to 17. Reenactments will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Call 726-0315.
