Track

The Times will run a high school honor roll periodically throughout the season. Coaches are asked to fax their school's top boys and girls performances in each event to Frank Pastor, (352) 848-1412; or e-mail them to pastor@sptimes.com each week by noon Tuesday. Please include first and last names.

Tennis

March 30 is the deadline for the USA Junior Team Tennis program offered by the USTA and area league coordinator Judy Jeanette. The program is open to juniors 6-18. There are three skill levels from beginner to advanced junior. Players must participate in the program to qualify for the state event, Aug. 1-4 in Lakeland. The cost is $70. Swimming

The Citrus Hilltoppers are having practice sessions for swimmers interested in competitive training.

The morning schedule is 5-6:30 Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7:30 Friday, and 6-8:30 Saturday. Afternoon sessions are 5-6:30 Monday-Thursday. For information, call Frank Bachteler, 344-5857.
