TODAY-APRIL 8: Ceramic artiwork by Peter Kolinski, Gloria Jones, Mary Jane Prichard and Charles Partin will be on exhibit at Pottberg Library on the Pasco-Hernando Community College campus, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey, 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays-Fridays; 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays; and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. SATURDAY: Actor Betty Jean Steinshouer will perform in the characters of authors Harriet Beecher Stowe, Sarah Orne Jewett and Laura Ingalls Wilder in Yankee Ladies of Florida at 2 p.m. at Centennial Park Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday. Ms. Steinshouer will give dramatic interpretations of the authors, then answer questions from the audience, both in character and as a researcher. Admission is free.

SATURDAY-MAY 4: Artist-sculptor David Kastner will present a six-week series, The History of Art, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and March 23, April 6, 20 and 27 and May 4, at Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road, Hudson. Series fee is $10 in advance. Individual sessions are $2 at the door.

THURSDAY-MARCH 24: The third annual Wesley Chapel Community Festival "Live the Magic!" will be in Wesley Chapel on State Road 54, a half-mile west of Interstate 75. Activities begin at 6 p.m. Thursday and continue at 5 p.m. March 22, 10 a.m. March 23 and noon March 24. Activities include the Battle of the Bands on March 22-24, the Antique Car Show on March 23-24, the Miss Wesley Chapel Pageant on March 24 and a WingFest (wings, two for 50 cents) on March 23-24.
