Kristen Lea Bare, 16,Lecanto High School

HOBBIES: Singing, drawing, spending time with friends and family and volunteering at the hospital.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Honor roll student; president of Spanish club; former peer facilitator; member of SWAT and tennis team; has studied sign language.

ASPIRES: To attend University of Florida to study medicine.

TALENT: Character vocal performance titled Wouldn't It be Lovely.

FIRST RUNNER-UP and MISS CONGENIALITY

Stephanie Dale Wood, 15 -- Lecanto High School

HOBBIES: Dance, tennis, cheerleading and reading.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Performed Nutcracker on Broadway; danced with Marion County Ballet; piano for 4 years; tennis; Junior Varsity Cheerleading; Honor Student; Southern Ballet Theatre's summer program; Danced an cruise ship Sensation.

ASPIRES: To become a physician

TALENT: Jazz dance performance to Orange Colored Sky

SECOND-RUNNER UP

Lindi Lee Nunziato, 14-Lecanto Middle School

HOBBIES: Playing piano, horseback riding, softball, basketball and swimming.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Honor roll student; member of Lecanto Middle School Honor Society; grand champion heifer and grand champion chickens 5 years at Citrus County Fair; rodeo barrel racer and pole bender.

ASPIRES: To become a plastic surgeon.

TALENT: Classical piano performance The Chorale from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.

THIRD-RUNNER UP

Shilah Nicole Goodwin, 16 -- Citrus High School

HOBBIES: Scuba diving, horseback riding, acting and photography.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Former Miss Strawberry Queen, Cover Miss America; former Junior Varsity cheerleader; competitive swimming and dance awards; elementary school reading volunteer; member Citrus High Drama Club, currently being inducted into the Thespian Society; First runner-up Miss Teen Citrus County.

ASPIRES: To become a marine biologist and work with autistic children.

TALENT: Vocal performance titled Me.

FOURTH RUNNER-UP (TIE)

Jennifer Renee Arnold, 17, Crystal River High School

HOBBIES: Singing, swimming, reading and softball.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Girl Scouts 12 years, 2000/2001 Wider Opportunity participant; member Crystal River High School Gasparilla and Silhouette Singers, Stetson Honor Chair Clinic; FVMA All-State 1999/2000; Outstanding Freshmen Choral Student, Best All-Around Choral Student; Excellent at FVA State Solar 2000/2001; lettered in varsity softball and swimming; student government; member FCA, Interact; and Superintendent's Advisory Cabinet' honor roll student.

ASPIRES: To earn a graduate with a degree in occupational therapy.

TALENT: Character vocal performance titled Nothing.

FOURTH RUNNER-UP (TIE)

Dana Irene Truett, 15 -- Crystal River High School

HOBBIES: Dancing, spending time with family and friends.

ACHIEVEMENTS: Dancing for 10 years, assistant dance teacher; attended many dance competitions and workshops; performed in Nutcracker with Nature Coast Ballet; in Who's Who Among American High School Students; and attended Academy of Environmental Science.

ASPIRES: To become a dance teacher.

TALENT: Lyrical dance performance: Journey To The Past.
