LUTZ -- A plan for 96 houses and 110 townhouses on 40 acres off Livingston Avenue has been remanded back to zoning hearing master Martin Smith. The property owners plan to revise the site plan, said the developers' attorney. (Petition 02-63).

UNIVERSITY NORTH: County commissioners postponed a request that would allow for the continued operation of a 12-bed residential home for emotionally disturbed people on W 131st Avenue, west of U.S. 41. The petition is scheduled to be heard at the April 9 land use meeting. County staffers and a zoning hearing master had recommended denial of the proposal. (Petition 01-01216)

A zoning hearing officer is scheduled to hear the following petitions this week:

WESTCHASE: Tampa Sheldon II Inc. is proposing a 16,780-square-foot office complex and 5,000-square-foot bank with a drive through for 2.5 acres on Linebaugh Avenue, east of Sheldon Road. (Petition 02-0313)

UNIVERSITY NORTH: Cornerstone Development Corp. wants permission to build a 72,850-square-foot mini storage complex, a manager's office, and RV and boat storage on 7.4 acres off Fletcher Avenue, west of North Boulevard. An auto sales company and repair shop now occupy the property. (Petition 02-0309)

CITRUS PARK: Joyce Carter, the owner of a 0.41-acre parcel on Pulitzer Road, is seeking a rezoning that would permit a home office building. The property is now approved for a convenience store, a gas station and drive-through restaurant. (Petition 01-1518)
