PINELLAS PARK -- The city's police sergeants have endorsed Sandra Bradbury for City Council.
Bradbury was informed of the support from the Fraternal Order of Police, Pinellas Lodge 43 in a March 12 letter.
"The law enforcement officers and the citizens in the city of Pinellas Park are truly served by having a candidate with your vision and integrity serving in local government," wrote FOP president Tim Ingold.
The FOP represents more than 1,200 police officers and Sheriff's deputies in Pinellas County, including the city's police sergeants.
Bradbury, 37, is facing Ralph Marlow, 43, in Tuesday's runoff.
None of the original three candidates for City Council Seat 2 received more than 50 percent of the votes in the March 6 election.
