Sunset Bay Inn Bed & Breakfast, 635 Bay St. NE, St. Petersburg, has received the AAA-Four Diamond Award. This is the third year the bed and breakfast has received the honor. "To receive the four diamonds, the B&Bs and hotels must meet certain criteria," said Mark Moore, division manager for AAA, St. Petersburg. "We have full-time inspectors who visit hotels year-round, and they visit the places unannounced. The inspectors observe the service just as any guest would. I believe there's only four B&Bs in the state with this top recognition, so we are very proud here in St. Petersburg," said Moore, who presented the innkeepers, Bob and Martha Bruce, with the honor last week. Sunset Bay Inn is also the only bed and breakfast on the west coast of Florida to receive the award.
