'Sleeping Beauty' and friends
The Royal Winnipeg Ballet updates The Sleeping Beauty to include not just Princess Aurora and Prince Florimund but also Red Riding Hood, Puss 'n Boots and other fairy tale characters. Founded in 1939, the Canadian troupe tours with 32 dancers and a 16-piece orchestra to play the Tchaikovsky score.
