Hugh and Mary Palmer Dargan are landscape architects of note who will share their expertise at GreenFest 2002. Their slide presentation and lecture at 11 a.m. April 6 in Plant Hall at the University of Tampa is free.
Though they have worked throughout the United States, the Atlanta couple's specialty is southern gardens. At GreenFest, they will discuss designing a garden with a four-part master plan that integrates a landscape with a house. Their commissions tend toward the grand and expensive, but they promise to offer ideas that can be translated to more modest sites.
