The truth is, Williams drawing lots of interest

After six seasons with the Bucs, receiver/punter returner Karl Williams might be on his way out. Williams, an unrestricted free agent, has received interest from the Ravens, Packers, Bears, Dolphins and Broncos, said his agent, Jack Bechta.
"Most teams would like to wait until after the draft to make any commitments," Bechta said. "But I think they all know what Karl can do."
Williams, one of the Bucs' most reliable reserves the past few years, worked his way into the starting lineup late in the season. He finished with 24 catches for 314 yards and one touchdown. He also had 35 punt returns, including an 84-yard touchdown.
The Bucs are not out of the picture but likely won't heat up negotiations until they settle on a second receiver. "At this point, I would say that their interest has been lukewarm," Bechta said. "They would like to steal him, get him signed for next to nothing."
THE RUMOR MILL: In likely response to various Internet stories over the weekend, Philadelphia and Tampa sports radio was abuzz Monday morning with the latest salvo from the Bucs-player-to-be-traded rumor mill.
This time it was defensive tackle Warren Sapp, rumored to be on his way to Philadelphia in exchange for a No. 1 pick and two No. 2 picks.
Through a team spokesman, Eagles coach Andy Reid said there was no truth to the rumor. Bucs officials declined to comment, but general manager Rich McKay and coach Jon Gruden have routinely stated in recent weeks that Sapp will be with the team this season.
SIGNINGS: With the first of three minicamps scheduled this weekend, the team added four new bodies, signing receivers Eddie Hardaway and Jonathan Pittman, linebacker Chris Jones and long-snapper Elmer Bench to one-year contracts. Hardaway was with the Bucs in training camp last year after spending the offseason with the Rhein Fire in NFL Europe.
