    Christian concert

    Grammy-winning contemporary Christian band Jars of Clay -- a group which just released its newest CD, The Eleventh Hour, in March -- will play Coachman Park today with special guests Jennifer Knapp, Shaun Groves and the Daniel B.     Freebie Weebie concert

    97X's Spring Break Freebie Weebie 'O2 alternative concert Saturday at Coachman Park promises to be a good one with Phantom Planet playing at 1:15 p.m., Big Sky at 2:15 p.m., Moth at 3:15 p.m., Something Corporate at 4:15 p.m., Trik Turner at 5:15 p.m. and Unwritten Law at 6:15 p.m. Admission is free.     Art in the Park

    The first in a spring string of Pinellas County art shows is the 36th annual Art in the Park Saturday at Live Oak Park at Crystal Beach near Palm Harbor. The event will feature new, original paintings, sculptures and pottery by local artists including Mike Bucha from Plant City and miniature art specialists Elaine Thomas, Evalyn Wood, Gloria Agnese and Elaine McCormick. You can also see fine art by members of the Crystal Beach Art Group hung on a clothesline and strung between the live oak trees. Refreshments will be served in the Community Church adjacent to the park. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission and parking are free. For information, call (727) 734-4377.

    HOME TOUR AND GARDEN SHOW: The Clearwater Garden Club's Home Tour and Flower Show will be from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday at various homes throughout Clearwater. You can check out a cottage-style house owned by the Rev. Robert and Deborah Richardson, a waterfront home owned by artist Robin Lee and the Garden Center. Tickets cost $10.     ART OPENING: The Trailside Artists Colony's First Friday art gathering will feature the works of the students of the Trailside Artists. From 6:30 to 9 tonight, the studios will be open and refreshments will be served. Artists will be on hand to talk about their works. Admission and parking are free.     PHOTOGRAPHY: The Dunedin Fine Art Center is presenting an exhibit called "Mysterium Photographicum" featuring 55 works from the private collections of contemporary American photographers.     ART EXHIBIT/RECEPTION: The Colored Pencil Society of America district chapter 113 will present an exhibit called "It's Colored Pencil" today through May 10 at the Painted Fish Gallery.     ART SHOW: The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art will present Ibram Lassaw: Deep Space and Beyond Sunday through June 16. Work by the abstract expressionist including sculptures, drawings, paintings and prints dating from 1927 will be exhibited. At 2 p.m. Sunday in the museum auditorium, Arthur F. There will be jugglers, magicians, fire eaters, live armored contact jousting, human chess matches and more than 135 shops offering Middle Age-type trinkets. It is a traditional British sound and light performance by marching bands and drill units. The custom dates back to the 17th century. The theme this year is "Celebrating our Youth."
