Victims of house fire need donations, home

BROOKSVILLE -- Local hospitals are trying to help a family that lost its home and belongings in a house fire March 26.

Sherri and Jonathan Fremmer's home on Valarie Court west of Brooksville was destroyed after an early morning fire. The couple need a home to rent, household goods such as dishes, pots, pans, towels and bedding, and clothing and toys for their children, girls ages 10 and 2 and a 9-year-old boy.

Anyone who can help is asked to call Brooksville Regional Hospital at 796-5111 or Spring Hill Regional Hospital at 688-8200. Sherri Fremmer, 27, is a nurse at Spring Hill.

Another teen charged in house break-in

SPRING HILL -- Authorities charged another 15-year-old boy in connection with a March 16 incident in which authorities said a group of juveniles broke into a Greynolds Avenue home, used a hot tub and stole a woman's jewelry.

Authorities said that several teens were discovered in the home, which was on the market.

Authorities said the teens broke in, used the owner's hot tub and stole jewelry worth $10,000 that was hidden under a mattress. Some of the jewelry was recovered.

Authorities charged three minors with burglary in March and charged another one on Thursday.

The Times is withholding the suspects' names because they are minors.
