BRANDON -- Left wing Fredrik Modin practiced with the team Saturday and might be available for today's game against the Sabres. He has missed 26 games with torn cartilage in his right wrist.

Head medical trainer Dave Boyer said if Modin does not have pain today, his participation will be a game-time decision.

Modin, whose last game was Jan. 26 against the Islanders, has said he does not know how the injury occurred and speculated it was the result of wear and tear.

He is tied for sixth on the team with 14 goals in 49 games. He also has 16 assists and an even plus-minus.
