Out & AboutBy Times staff© St. Petersburg Times published April 12, 2002 HEALTHY KIDS FAIR AT LOCAL YMCAs: Come celebrate National Healthy Kids Month at Healthy Kids Fair 2002 from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the New Tampa Family YMCA, 16221 Compton Drive. Parents and children are invited to participate in this free event designed to promote the importance of children's health and safety. The schedule includes a pool party, synchronized swimming demonstration, basketball and swimming relays, face-painting, a visit from "Fritzy the Clown" and information on children's health and safety. Vendors from Planet Smoothie and Cicco and Tony's will provide free snacks. For information, call the New Tampa Family YMCA at 866-9622. The Bob Sierra Family YMCA on Northdale Boulevard will also celebrate Healthy Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with games, door prizes and health information. Adults are welcome to visit the Southwest Florida Blood Services bloodmobile and donate blood from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call the Bob Sierra Family YMCA at 962-3220. STUDENT DANCE PRODUCTION TO PRESENT OWN WORKSStudents from USF's Department of Theatre and Dance will bring their own unique styles to the stage this weekend at its concert, "Indivisible." Choreographed and produced solely by dance students, the production is sure to entertain with its electric performances and dynamic dance forms. Shows begin at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The dance theater is in room FAD 204 at the USF campus, 4202 E Fowler Ave. Cost is $8 for general admission; $4 for non-USF students, children and senior citizens; and free for USF students.
