High steppers in a parade

Winners of the 24th annual Tampa Bay Parade of Homes were announced Tuesday at a banquet sponsored by the Builders Association of Greater Tampa.
The winners were selected by teams of judges who are involved in the home building industry outside the Tampa Bay area. They selected grand and merit award winners in various price categories from among 128 models by 50 builders in this year's parade, which ran March 9-24.
The winners, all single-family homes by price category, are:
Under $100,000: grand award, Pulte Homes, Largo at Meadow Pointe in south central Pasco; merit award, Premier Design Homes of Florida, Cambridge at Meadow Pointe.
$100,001-$125,000: grand award, Lennar Homes, Madison at Kings Lake in south Hillsborough; merit award, Maronda Homes, Roanoke C at Kings Lake.
$125,001-$150,000: grand award, Inland Homes, Ashwood II at Covington Park in south Hillsborough; merit award, Pulte Homes, Aldrin at Lexington Oaks in south central Pasco.
$150,001-$175,000: grand award, Westfield Homes, Bardmoor II at West Meadows in New Tampa; merit award, Inland Homes, Bradford II at FishHawk Ranch in south Hillsborough.
$175,001-$200,000: grand award, Westfield Homes, Mayfair at Boyette Farms in south Hillsborough; merit award, M/I Homes, Tahoe at Hickory Lakes in south Hillsborough.
$200,001-$225,000: grand award, Inland Homes, Sanibel at Sable Ridge in south central Pasco; merit award, Inland Homes, Gardenia at Buckhorn Grove in Hillsborough.
$225,001-$250,000: grand award, Mercedes Homes, Hampton Manor at Woodberry in south Hillsborough; merit award, American Heritage homes, Churchill at FishHawk Ranch.
$250,001-$275,000: grand award, Morrison Homes, Worthington II at FishHawk Ranch; merit award, Nohl Crest Homes, Hampshire at Trinity in southwest Pasco.
$275,001-$300,000: grand award, Southern Crafted Homes, Islamorada at Cross Creek in New Tampa; merit award, Morrison Homes, Roxburgh IV at Eastmonte in south Hillsborough.
$300,001-$325,000: grand award, Nohl Crest Homes, Sherwood at West Meadows; merit award, Windjammer Homes, Savoy Heritage at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in northeast Pasco.
$325,001-$350,000: grand award, Kimball Hill Homes, Sawgrass II 2716 at Lake Jovita; merit award, Mercedes Homes, Brooke Ridge at Lake Weeks in south Hillsborough.
$350,001-$375,000: grand award, Southern Crafted Homes, Amelia II at West Meadows; merit award, Mobley Homes, Nantucket IV at West Meadows.
$375,001-$400,000: grand award, Westfield Homes, Palladium II Plus at Lakeshore Estates in northwest Hillsborough; merit award, Schmidt Brothers Executive Homes, Sanctuary 3200 at the Preserve at Buckhorn in south Hillsborough.
$400,001-$500,000: grand award, Avalon Building Corp. of Tampa Bay, Avalon IV at Eagle Crest in north central Hillsborough; merit award, Avalon Building Corp. of Tampa Bay, Antigua at the Eagles Golf and Country Club in Hillsborough.
$500,001-$600,000: grand award, Mark Maconi Homes, Madeira III at Lake Jovita; merit award, Bayfair Properties, Bella Donna at New Floresta in north Hillsborough.
Over $600,001: grand award, Lee Fernandez Homes, La Serena at Keystone Shores in northwest Hillsborough; merit award, Hannah-Bartoletta Homes, Bordeaux at Tampa Palms in New Tampa.
The 2002 Energy Excellence Awards, sponsored by TECO Tampa Electric and TECO Peoples Gas, were presented to M/I Homes, Oxford at Foxwood at Trinity in southwest Pasco; and Grant Homes, Hancock at Lakes of Northwood in south central Pasco.
