OUTLOOK: This eight-fight card is at the former Egypt Shrine Temple and features a main event pitting super-middleweight "Irish" Joe Hughes, an up-and-comer trying to find his footing again -- he once was 17-1, against Eric Howard in a 10-rounder. Hughes is 19-4; Howard is 10-4. In twin co-main events, hard-hitting super-bantamweight Carlos "Bam Bam" Diaz (7-0-2) takes on Marty Robbins (12-9), and super-middleweight Gene Molen (7-0, all by knockout) fights Alberto Albaladejo (8-1-2) in what should be the night's best bout. Clearwater's Molen will have one of his toughest fights, as his previous seven competitors were a combined 16-51-4. Steel-chinned local favorite Rudy Lunsford (11-18-2) of Brandon will try to end a six-fight winless streak, and 1996 Czech Olympian Gabriel Krizan (4-1), who was born in Palm Harbor, will fight.
