Sailing camp begins June 3

DAVIS ISLANDS -- The Davis Islands Youth Sailing Foundation offers youth sailing camps for children ages 8 to 15 starting June 3 at the Davis Islands Yacht Club.

Register from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Davis Islands Yacht Club, 1315 Severn Ave.

Students can sign up for the 9 a.m. to noon or the 1 to 4 p.m. session. Each runs for two weeks and is limited to 18 children. A boat is provided, but sailors must bring life vests.

The cost is $160 per session, plus a $25 registration fee per family. For information, visit www.diyc.org.
