TODAY-MAY 2: Works from art students at Eckerd College Art Department are on exhibit at Alric C.T. Pottberg Library on the west campus of Pasco-Hernando Community College, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. SATURDAY: The Richey Community Orchestra will perform "A Tribute to Irving Berlin" at 3 p.m. at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge. Guest performers are Hernando County tenor Irv Clark and sopranos Shirley Button and Suzanne Ruley. SATURDAY: Genesis Preparatory School backers will hold a fundraising Sunset Island Party at 6:30 p.m. at a private home on the Gulf of Mexico. Entertainers include Trio de Sol Caliente, the steel drum group Antilles and Patrick Foy and the Conch Critters. Opening is The Damon Fowler Group. Doors open at 7 p.m., Fowler performs at 8 p.m., Winter goes from 9:30-11 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door. Those who attend the Leon Russell concert tonight and can show a ticket stub on Sunday will be admitted to the winter concert for $10.

MONDAY: Singer Dino DiLiberti will perform opera arias, romantic ballads and Italian folk songs at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. DiLiberti has performed for the American ambassador in Rome, at ruth Eckerd Hall and with the Clearwater Symphony Orchestra. Admission is $3.

MAY 4-5: Auditions for the Show Palace Dinner Theatre's production of the musical revue Smokey Joe's Cafe will be held from noon to 4 p.m. May 4 at The Master Class Academy, 711-B Orange Ave., Winter Park, and from 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 5 at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Positions are available for both Equity and non-Equity singers who move well. Those who audition should prepare two songs from Smokey Joe's and be prepared to do a short moving dance combination.
