CITRUS PARK -- The Citrus Park Elementary School student council recently received the Honor Council Excellence award from the National Association of Elementary School Principals. The award is given for commitment to leadership, citizenship and community service. The school and student council will be recognized in the May/June issue of the organization's magazine, The Communicator, and in the September issue of Student News Today.
