The Earth Society of the Eckerd College Organization of Students will host an Earth Day Festival from 12:30-4 p.m. Monday at Slater's Woods. The annual festival celebrates environmental awareness and will include food, music, information and activities.

Eckerd College students have organized a Women's Empowerment Week from Tuesday-Friday, dedicated to the memory of Darlene Harmon, a maintenance worker at the college who was killed on campus in March. All events are free.

"Men Against Rape," noon Tuesday, Triton's Pub. For men and women.

Self Defense Seminar, 8 p.m. Tuesday, Raymond James Room, Fox Hall.

"Goddess Worship -- Women in Religion," a lunch lecture with Constantina Bailly, Eckerd College associate professor of religious studies, 1 p.m. Wednesday, Women's Resource Center, Fox Hall. Lunch provided.

"Women and Careers," with Eckerd College Resource Center staff members Marti Newbold and Jane Colson, 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Women's Resource Center. Lunch provided.

"Reproductive Health and Politics," presented by Planned Parenthood, 4 p.m. Thursday, Women's Resource Center.

Clothesline Project, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, displayed in the woods behind the library.

Take Back the Night Festival, with musical performers Kelly Green, Those Two Girls and Halcyon, speakers, free food, henna tattoos and tarot card readings, 8 p.m.-midnight Friday, Hough Quad.

The St. Petersburg College Musical Theater Workshop presents Any Swing Goes, a musical revue of World War II, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Music Center. For free tickets, call 341-4360 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The Tampa Bay Composers Forum will present the 10th annual Festival of Living Music from Thursday through Saturday. Featured composer Stephen Montague's compositions, Behold a Pale Horse and Haiku, and this year's prize-winning compositions for excellence in chamber music will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Music Center. A workshop with Montague will be held at 11:10 a.m. Thursday at the Humanities Building, Room 117. Tickets are $5, $3 for seniors. Students are free. Call 341-4678 for information.
