By Times staff writer Wesley Chapel man, 65, accused of selling crackWESLEY CHAPEL -- Undercover deputies on Wednesday arrested a 65-year-old Wesley Chapel man who they say sold crack cocaine in central Pasco. According to reports, Pasco County sheriff's deputies and agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms bought the drugs on several occasions from Marshall Luther Salter of 30718 Gar Drive. Authorities arrested Salter on Wednesday and found crack on him at that time, reports stated. Salter faces three charges of selling crack cocaine, one charge of attempting to sell crack cocaine, and two charges of possession of crack cocaine. He was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail, where he remained Thursday in lieu of $406,100 bail. Man accused of robbing pedestrian in Dade CityDADE CITY -- Dade City police officers on Tuesday arrested a 32-year-old man they said robbed another man who was walking along Eighth Street. Officers said Steven Bernard McPhail of 14741 12th St. stole more than $700 from the victim's pocket and threatened to shoot him. Officers declined to name the victim. Officers say that when they found McPhail, he was carrying a crack pipe and a clear bag with trace amounts of cocaine in it. Officers did not mention finding a gun on McPhail. McPhail faces charges of robbery, grand theft, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail, where he remained Thursday in lieu of $28,000 bail.
